About us
First Aid By Shah Wali Amode
FABSA exists to make expert medical help available to everyone in Mauritius: at home, at work and at every kind of event.
Founder-led, field-tested
FABSA was founded by Shah Wali Amode, a first aid professional with more than 14 years of experience and an MQA-recognised trainer and lecturer. What started as one man teaching life-saving skills has grown into a full medical services team.
Today our first aiders, nurses and paramedics deliver care at patients' homes, staff public and corporate events, operate a fully equipped ambulance fleet and train new first aiders across the island.

Our mission
To promote health, safety and well-being in Mauritius by delivering reliable medical support and by giving people the skills and confidence to respond when it matters most.
The team
A trained, uniformed team of first aiders, nurses and paramedics, coordinated from Beau-Bassin and active islandwide, every day of the year.

How we work
Always ready
24/7 availability is not a slogan. Our teams and vehicles are on call day and night.
Professional care
Qualified people, proper equipment and clear procedures on every mission.
Human first
We treat every patient the way we would want our own family treated.
Talk to us about your needs
Whether you need care for a family member, medical standby for an event or first aid training for your staff, we will help you plan it.
